Bon voyage, Rini

Gathered with part of the family to send the maid at the airport. She's going back to Indonesia.

Get to grab some food from one of my most favourite fastfood restaurant. =)

Destructed!

Massive destruction by some irresponsible, shameless people at the workplace. I am totally wordless to tell what happened at school early this morning.
Kay gave one chocolate wafer from Germany. She said it's made in Germany but she didn't really go to Germany to get it, it was sold in one of the shops in Jalan Muara which I am gonna look for it because the wafer turned out to be so nice!

I didn't attend the workshop. So did my colleagues. The school was chaotic!

Chicky chicken rice

I don't know if this is a good news or a bad news but me and another two teachers are being sent to attend a three-day workshop organised by the Unit Mempromosikan Kesihatan. The good thing about this is that I'll get to rest my voice for three days as I'll be off from teaching. Teaching is depressing my throat at the moment and I am still not fully recovered from my cough. Tsk! The bad things are that I will have to leave my kids and relief teachers would be difficult to find since there are three teachers being sent for two different workshop in addition to two teachers who are on their maternity leave.

Evening out with my heart of hearts. <3 Had chicken rice from the SCR in Gadong. Yums~

Baby, baby, baby ohh~

I am now positive that Lala is not pregnant. Boo! No babies. I admit that watching Lala in the cage is actually fun. Playing with her, hearing her squeaking when Fifi tries to fight with her and also being bitten by her!

This is Lulu trying to grab some food.

And I'm loving Baby so much! *sings Justin Bieber's Baby*

Shopping Saturday

I love the feel of going shopping every weekend that its now becoming my routine to go out carrying the reusable shopping bags every Saturday evening. My favourite destination is no other than Supa Save. =) I think it's because of the No Plastic Bag Campaign. I still want to keep up to the public response towards it. Also, it is a way to relieve stress.

My depression could come from these stacks of books! And the marksheet!

The name for this brand of one frozen food in the store really caught my eyes.

Over the Stamford Bridge

Monday blues. Had to wake up early this morning to prepare food for the siblings because momme's still at the hospital. It is this time that I could feel how life would be so hard without having momme around. Thank God, she was discharged this afternoon. =)

Spring cleaning for the hamsters. I found that one stick that made the 'atap' of the house was broken. Boo!

I think Lala is pregnant. She looks a lot fatter than before especially around the rear. Wowness! I am expecting the babies in few days *excited grins* but I could be wrong. =p~ I'll just wait and see. So this is Lala, crossing over the 'Stamford Bridge'. LOL. And I love when she runs in the wheel. I guess I'll get her a hamster ball for her to play with while I clean the cage next time.

And this is Kiki who is still in a separate cage.

Happily ever after?

Momme got warded again after being rushed to the Emergency Department in RIPAS early this morning. It was 0240 hrs when she woke me up telling that she was bleeding heavily. I still gone to work like usual despite she's in the hospital. Thank God that my aunty was here so she accompanied momme at the hospital.

Today, I carried out another colouring activity with the kids. In the worksheet, the kids were asked to find the answers to the given questions in parts of the picture and then use the answers to check the colour codes. Then they will colour the picture according to the codes.

The 1C class was behaving very well today and I am glad for that. I told them a story about a woodcutter who dropped his axe in the water and finally got two new axes, a gold axe and a silver axe. I forgot the title of the story and I actually changed the story at the end just to get the kids to know what life really is. Not everything in this life ends with 'happily ever after'.

I went to the clinic this afternoon because I felt pain in my ears. It turned out that my ear canals were inflammed. I was only given an ear drop and pain killer. Also, me and the siblings went to RIPAS to visit momme. I hope that she will be discharged soon.

A new white thing

It's Friday. Looking forward t the weekend. I need rest. Away from work. Yesterday, I taught my little angels how subtraction and addition are related using the number bonds model. Alhamdulillah, most of the pupils understood the concept of 'parts' although one or two from each class still needs reinforcement.

Went to Yayasan Complex with the sister and father. The other side of the family was also there. I got a new handphone. A white classic E63. Classic but it's good enough to relace my broken P1i as I still haven't thought of buying the expensive one. The sister and the brother each got a new handphone as well.

Ninja Turtle

Quite a busy week. I have a lot of markings to be done which requires a lot of hardwork. I am still trying to adapt to the feel of teaching Year 1 kids. Teaching these little angels is undeniably fun and challenging. And yes, I have to learn to control my anger or else I'll die young of blood pressure. LOL. But things are good as far as I know. Hm, I am highlighting to things that are related to teaching. =)

We have Program Pemberusan Gigi Berflorida in school which started few days ago. I have to say that this programme is good to maintain healthy lifestyle among the kids especially that concerns oral hygiene. However, I think there are a lot of improvements that can be done so that this programme won't become a burden to the teachers.

The brother cleaned up his tortoises' aquarium this afternoon and I asked him to take the tortoises out. But he only took one out. I hate the fact that our cats are not amazed or at least curious to see other creatures in the house. They'll just ignore them and sleep. -.-

Went out in the afternoon to fetch the sister from school and dropped by the Mum Bakery in Kiulap. I found some Maths books which I could take some exercises and activities for my kids from.

And I'm loving these~.
