Hamstergirl

Hello readers.

Yesterday was a total chaos. I went out to send momme to the hospital and she immediately got warded. I was so mad about the carpark in RIPAS Hospital area. Seriously, something has to be done to overcome this issue. I think the hospital staffs should be given an incentive by having a a bus ride from home to work or atleast from some pick-up points to work rather than them occupying most of the parking space in the area as mostly each of them drives own car. I spent almost an hour going around to find a space. What a waste of time!

Last night, Mini Morris bit my finger when I was trying to give him his antibiotic. I was bleeding badly and the boyfie rushed me to the Emergency Department in RIPAS. Sighs. Baru jua balik dari melawat mama semalam ahhh then had to go back to the hospital again. Tepakai banar jua kan hospital atu. We were there for about two hours and I was given a dose of Tetanus shot on my right arm and pain killer pills. But somehow, I did feel silly bringing this poor little finger to the emergency room, telling the paramedics, 'I got bitten by my hamster. Any chance I will turn to a Hamstergirl?' LOL. I didn't say the last sentence though. Anyhow, thanks so much bibehh~ <3.

Hospital again later~ Hopefully the surgery goes well, Amin~

Mini Morris

Bad news. Mini Morris got out of his cage and fell off the first storey. Broke both his hind legs and got paralysed. Thanks cousin for bringing him to the vet. He was given an injection and antibiotics.

Another new start

Hello readers.

Its the first day of school for the second term of the year. Goodbye holiday. Bohoooo~ The first thing that I did this morning was to get my letter and form signed by the Assistant Headmistress in order to get permission to be out from school during the school hour. Alhamdulillah, everything went well so nothing more to be worried about.

Class was okay on the first day. I only had one class today with the Year 6 kiddies. Collected their project that I gave for their school holiday and to my disappointment, I only received at least five work from each class and there are about 26 pupils in each class. Blergh~ But, I gave them some more time until this Saturday to submit the work or else, I will have to give a merciless 0 in their report. However, I am so impressed with some of the finished work. They were so creative.

I am looking forward to see more of these.

Captain Planet

Hello readers.

Its the first weekend of the No Plastic Bag Campaign in Brunei. So, I joined the campaign by doing my shopping at the Supa Save in Mabohai after sending the sister to school. I went for another shopping in the evening with my momme to see how the Bruneians respond to this campaign. Unfortunately, since we are also having the 60-minute Earth Hour Campaign at 2030 hrs until 2130 hrs, we only went to Giant Supermarket in Kiulap and Sim Kim Huat Kiulap. I didn't join the Earth Hour Campaign anyway but seeing some people posting up their pics on the Twitterverse, I sort of regretted it though.

I think this one in the picture below was actually a chicken that was cursed and turned to broccoli.

I personally feel that this campaign is good to practice in order to save our environment. We all know that plastic bags are non-biodegradable so why should we be ignorant? Lets keep this up! =)

Wonderful tonight

Hello readers.

Day 4 of the holiday and I'm loving it so much. Looking forward to today actually. Went out with the boyfie to the 'Pameran Pedang Nabi' at The Balai Pameran Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Darul 'Ifta.

The exhibition was great except for the guides and the securities. I thank His Majesty for bringing in the swords and sticks all the way from Egypt (if I'm not mistaken) so that His people are able to look into the wonders of the Islam life. The swords were just the replicates but they looked so real. The sticks were also replicates yet they're wonderful. Also being exhibited were His Majesty's collections of mushafs, tongkat, tasbih and a lot of things including the fossils and one gigantic beduk from Acheh, Indonesia. Overall, I am satisfied with it and seriously, we should have more of this exhibition.

It was raining cats and dogs while we were at the exhibition but luckily it stopped no long after we went off Darul 'Ifta. Then we went for dinner at Rang Mahal Restaurant. We ordered the Mutton Massala. Yummy~

The gifts. Just wanna give some surprise. Its the Red Shield and the Golden Cannon! Woot!

Like a sunshine

Hello readers.

Sunday is a family day, isn't it? We're still at the grandparents' house. Today, me and the team practiced some more songs for our gulingtangan performance at the cousin's wedding in July.

Well, I was busy doing work actually and only joined the practice after I finished my work. Boo me!

Leaving on a jet plane

Hello readers. It's March 19. Happy birthday, Bibehh <3. Not going out to celebrate the birthday because there is 'temarok' happening right now at the grandparents' home. Temarok is a ritual event for the Dusuns which the berlians performs to worship the spirits of the padi. Gonna post about this next time. Not taking pictures of the event for safety reason.

Anyways, Uncle Yoyong got sent to U.S. for 10 days. I forgot what it was for. PDI Aircraft thing? Ummm, maybe. I can only tell that it is a career business matter. So, we went to the airport to send him off. Bon voyage, uncle. Our prayers are with you.

In the end, we got to dine at the Express Restaurants before we actually head off to Tutong.
